So I had to write a love story in my litterature class ( english 103 in quebec)
I would like second opinions on it and if you have time a little grammar and syntax check up

Love story

We were all in this reception, meeting one last time before the cold and long season coming foward. The room was full, everywhere he was looking at, there was someone talking to someone else. It was like a Christmas party, they were one big family. It was magic. He was observing our team, when he lost control over eyes…

There was this one girl, dressed in formal robe gazing and wandering through all her fellow coworkers. She was the one girl you could easily see in a crowd and the one you could not forget. Her eyes were magnificient, colored in a deep blue. He surprised himself thinking these were saphires. He had heard of her before, she was the year’s best recruit. Being aware of that, he went to her and congratulated her. They had a little chat, and exchance numbers before leaving each other.

Time passed, it flew away leaving only memories of this night. It took time, before he took his courage and dial-up her number. They talked, it was somehow really strange… there was absolutly no akward silence, they were talking alot, hours passed by without any of them noticed it, even thought he hated talking on the phone. They talked of their past, their actual life and their dreams. They knew each other like nobody ever knew them, you could feel their mutual trust, it was magic. He even thought she was his soulmate… or was it love blinding his sight?

Everything was perfect… until it occurs. The problem was not their love, but their age… They had a 3 years difference, which could be a problem because he was turning eighteen soon. On his side, his parent were fearing multiple issues with the law... On her side, having lived the same type of story her parents were happy, her mother cried of joy and her father was happy she had found one serious boyfriend. They feared they could not live their love freely, like they dreamt of it. Being deeply in love with her, he took the time to read the law on such situations…

They finally set a date which was not officially one.

It was at the beginning of september, leaves were beginning their adventure throught the colors of the dead season. It was a cool night, with a little jacket it was perfect. He took the car and drove to the park where they were supposed to meet each other. It had been nearly a month since he had seen her. He was anxious or was he nervous… Arrived at the park, he nearly decide to turn away. He could not leave her there, he had to tell her. He parked the car. He entered the park’s playground and try to find her. It had not been that hard, they were a group of kids playing and one girl on a bench in a yellow long sleeve t-shirt.

She was sit on the bench, thinking if he would show up or if you would not. She was anxious, she had talked of him for a long time with her friends, she have had a crush on him in the middle of summer. She could not stop thinking of him, and their age difference. Would it work out, or would her heart be broken once more?

He greeted her and she propose to go walking. They were walking under the light of the street lamps. They talked about anything thay came to their minds as usual. She asked to go on the top of the hill on which they could have slid if there would have been snow. They climb it and sat on top. They talked, laughed and looked at each other. They talked about their future together like if it was not theirs. They were in love, yet they had not admited it. It was getting late, when they walked down the hill to go back at her house. They were smiling, stars were shining in her eyes, everything was alright…

While approaching her house, he felt the nervousity coming back and she feared that her her would be broken soon. They stopped infront of the garage. She said : « I really enjoyed our night, we could have another one if you wish…» He took her in his arm, gived her a kiss on her cheeks and said : « It would be a pleasure. » He turned away, She did the same. She put her feet in the stairs which led to the door, but he had grasped her hand, she looked at him… they kissed and he said : « Everything’s gonna be alright. »
