Well, for my school we are doing British literature in 10th grade. This book along with Lord of the flies was assigned as summer reading and I was wondering if this book gets better after like page 50 or so. I have read up to page 50 and it hasn't really caught my interest yet, just hope it gets better. maybe someone who has read it can convince me to keep reading and PLEASE DON'T ruin ANY ending points/matters please.

I read it for my Great Novels class I took this past year. To be honest with you, it really doesn't get any better. It's just a really boring story with a completely stupid and somewhat funny ending. I along with everyone in my class hated this book. I don't know, maybe you'll enjoy it though. happy.gif
