the book is fantastic, the last few chapters of the book were left out of the movie and they are totally killer, they really bring everything together. if you enjoyed the movie i recomend the book , its much more enjoyable. also if you've never seen where the buffalo roam staring bill murray you need to. check imdb to find out more info about wtbr.

if you're a fan of hunters work may i also suggest mescalito - a book of short storys and the rum diaries - his first novel & is now being made into a major motion picture w/ johnny depp to play the lead role. the rum diaries is my personal fave by mr thompson, tho his political writings are just as good, but on a different level. fear and loathing on the campaign trail was a hoot the whole way through.

if you enjoy drunk rantings check out bukowski, his book "women" is a great intro to his works.

Total vouch but not to spam. The guy is a killer writer, definitely beats the movie. Read his other stuff or see the vido documentary on his..."Breakfast With Hunter" or some name to that effect. Bloody hilarious.
