I just finished the Twilight series yesterday. I have also finished the Harry Potter series, but that was a while ago. I am looking for a new series to start, but I would like it to be along the lines of Harry Potter and Twilight. I like those type of series and would like to try and stay as close to it as possible.

So if anyone has any suggestions that I should check out, please post and let me know.

A series that I really enjoyed, while it is on a little different wavelength than either of those books its still a great series (a long one as well). Read " The Dresden Files" series, there awesome, I believe there are around 11 of them atm, Jim butcher is a real talented author. His Codex Alera series is really good too.

Whether or not you asked for my opinion has no bearing whatsoever on whether or not I will choose to state that the Twilight series is trash on your thread.

Try the Treasure box by Orson Scott Card (I think it's the treasure box, I can't remember exactly).

My girlfriend said that she really like the Stephanie Plum series and thought that I should try it. Anyone read this series and have reviews?
