it has been a dream of mine to write a great fantasy book
but i dont want it to be cliche with elves and dwarves and mystical creatures
i love swords and knives and especially elemental magic
none of the other bullshit
but im having trouble with the plot
i was thinking like only a select few are magicians
out of those there is either 3 categories
green mage(nature oriented)
blue mage(water oriented)
red mage(fire oriented)
also there will be really uncommon ones
white mage(blue and green also healing abilities)
black mage(necromancy and fire)
main character oviously evil and first black mage in 1000 years

please give feedback and ideas
much aprreiciated

You spelled "writing" wrong. "Writing" isn't even a hard word to spell.

Your editor is going to stab you in the throat before your book is even published.

a main character should never be overpowered and shoulkd have many flaws, because thats what makes someone interesting.

and as fantasy is a rather boring genre (most books are VERY similar.. ); you need something really special in your book to achieve any recognition

Going to need a huge plot idea to write a book. What you have now isn't even close.

don't focus too much on the characters , concentrate on the story. That leaves you more freedom to develop the characters troughout the story too.
Plot twists are very important, so try to think of something that nobody would anticipate. Bad example: John (the main character) grew up on the streets and became a rebel, he never knew his parents. While confronting the king's army he detected his father, whos face he knew from an old picture, as the comander of the army or something. That builds up a conflict and lets John think if he should go his own way or join his father.

If I had an idea for a plot of a book, I'd be writing one myself lol. Still, like someone said, the plot is the most important part of a book. If the plot is good, the characters will fall into place IMO.
