i really like the book The Giver and ive read the 2 books that come after that
and i also like House of The Scorpion

so could someone maby suggest me a book thats somewhat like one of those 2?

the angel factory by terrence black (not sure if i got author's name right)
when i read that book it made me think about the giver :)

two of the best books I've ever read: "DRUIDS" and "Greener Shores" both by (Morgan Llywelyn)[sp?] You'll love them dude.

for a good long read with a lot of comedy read all 6 books in The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy series, you can usually find all the books in one single book. One of my favorite reads hands down.

Also I'd suggest Ender's Game, that one was always one of my favorites growing up :)
