This book is spectacular! Another gripping tale from the god-like hand of Terry Pratchett. When a cat, and some rats eat some strange food in the back alleys of a discworld city, they become thinkers. They can talk! This band of clever animals, fronted by Maurice the clever cloggs decide to start scamming towns out of their money with a cunning plan! But all goes tits up when they find more than they bargained for in this new city...
I started this book 2 or 3 days ago, and after the first 2 chapters i was gripped. I couldnt move!! I even stopped playing Diablo to read this! I havnt been this gripped since i started reading Harry Potter books. This book starts off as a light comedy, the usual fantasy endorced humour that Terry Pratchett is so good at. But quickly it turns into a gripping thriller full of death, questions and fighting.
While the title is somewhat lame, dont let it fool you. This book will have you captivated if you give it a chance. If you dont know what its like, then read just 5 of the chapters. They arent particuarly long, and it will have you gripped. Anyone that likes epic tales, read this!!
