her mind tells her to scream, its echoes barren & dry
a pandemonium of demons & angels who've been ripped from the sky
it breeds nightmares sustained by false hope & dreams
while relentless animosity carves fissures in it's seams

while we sleep this earth bleeds her veins absent of truth
in her arms we've fallen & grown accustom to this abuse
faithless and blind we set aflame our own home
her passions turns malice - it splinters flesh like stone

so tonight inherit this vision at the price of your pride
much like the watchdog astray by his blind master's side
consume their lies, forgive not the sins we've committed
close your eyes while the dead are condemned & their killers acquitted

I think too fucking much to become another one of their mindless slaves
& I care too much to stand idle as my brothers are forced to dig their own graves
Ive grown to despise the conformity that plagues this dreaded race
so ill burn the world to ashes just so that they remember i was one with this place

drawn into this vision you assume a delusion of your hell
marked by nothing but forsaken memories of renegades who wept as they fell
yet silently i tread as solitude scorches and screams within my heart
ive no more blood to bleed for you, ive bled hollow from the start

after all who gives a shit about a dead man's life?
virulence consumes the forgotten, their innocence inherent with strife
they praise starving minds pursuing perfection only to end in disaster
while instead I watch as neglectful pricks line up to abuse all I've sought after

who can say that the water is to blame if you drown?
just as misery is not to blame if you decide to never make a sound
we are all at ease by the silence and fear that rules this domain
but there's only so much injustice that one can contain

you quiver as you fall deeper into the dark, fearing what you thought all along
you ignored me waiting below, arms open to catch you to bring you back where you belong
the reaper lurks every corner, tearing lives away from the sides of the blind
because we smile in ignorance as long as we there is comfort to be found in one's mind

i found felicity through vision, my cradle of decay and ideal
behind broken dreams and torn memories one truth remained real
my freedom to dream & illuminate this forsaken reality
i can show you too - all you have to do is walk with me

this basically was written as a depiction of my loose view on the hatred that taints our world every day and goes unseen, or in most cases uncared for and ignored. thoughts?
