a few poems i wrote in one of my classes out of boredom about multiple topics, feedback would be appreciated



Our dying world tonight

1) Are you afraid
2) of our dying world tonight?
3) do you not care
4) what will come of us if you don't fight?

5) we're all sick
6) consumed by their disease
7) you beleived you were powerless
8) your free mind for them to seize

9) conformity under assumption
10) one with such just cause
11) a mind frozen without function
12) shackled by their laws

13) I know you can fly
14) you must know it too
15) But you are afraid to die
16) so hold my hand and i will show you


She is everything

1) don't beleive me
2) just listen to what i say
3) free your mind of limitation
4) create a world as seen your own way

5) I love to see you glow
6) to listen to your dreams
7) so tell me what you know
8) we're not always as we seem

9) i see your your hidden beauty
10) burried beneath your veil
11) you are beautiful too
12) but is such beauty even real?

13) such ideals are lost with cause
14) others i still see
15) so forget their mainstream laws
16) close your eyes and walk with me

1) without a whisper
2) the atmosphere fades to dust
3) their lies have consumed her
4) her eyes now filled with lust
5) masked men stand in line
6) littering our barren earth
7) she violently surges to be felt
8) but their lies have given birth
9) they thunder through dying skies
10) above a world fearless and blind
11) she cries unsure of her demise
12) where none can hear her


Conductor

1) echoes of the dead
2) rape their young minds
3) violeted by your ideals
4) you preach behind blind eyes
5) your fear consumes you
6) it treads a path paved by lies
7) of all the deaf who marched before you
8) youve been violated too
9) are you afraid?
10) how could you be?
11) when you are told of the light
12) so you trust what you can't see


don't speak

1) how comfortable
2) these chains of yours
3) too loose to contain you
4) but without resistance
5) will you ever know?
6) how lovely
7) this mind of yours
8) you think you're alive
9) vulnerable and weak
10) can you be saved?
11) time has consumed you
12) it ate you alive
13) fear not ignorance
14) faith leads to redemption
15) in your faith lit sky
16) haha
17) don't say a word
18) they might hear you
