Two nights ago- I dreamed of love,
And here's what it beguiled,
A heavenly vision looked my way,
Gazed at me, and smiled.

Yesterday, I met the Lovely,
While shopping at the mall,
And earlier this morning,
I gave her a call.

Yesterday, She looked radiant,
Lavishly lit like fire.
So serene at seventeen,
My one true desire.

Yesterday, I let her know,
I think she understood.
I looked into her eyes and said,
"Forever, and For Good."

Today, I made a vow,
Never to depart.
To love her forevermore...
To be the keeper of her heart...

Today, I want to tell her,
That no matter where we are,
When in need of good luck,
I will be her shooting star...

Today, She needs to know,
That if her ambitions fray,
Squeeze and hold onto my hand,
And I will lead the way.

Today, Is like the ocean,
To big to comprehend,
Although with everlasting love,
We will foresee the end.
