i read thought it was a great book very interesting...thought and crap post here even tho its an old book

I read for school too, decent book about what the times where like back then -about tolerance and expectation, black, white, right, wrong, etc.

very good book, thats why its still being read in the education system today

sad story yet very representative of the era it was written in. I read it waht seems an age ago and about the only quote I can recollect, although it might not be verbatim, is: "shoot all the bluejays you want, but remember, it is a sin to kill a mockingbird."

yea I read it in school as well and all I wanted to do was get it over tiwh, but now that I think about it that was an excellent book and had many symbolic parts to it

And that's also why it's banned in some places... what a shame.
