Pm me. this sounds stupid but I love lotr nerd talk. I've read the Lotr series and Silmarillion, Unifinished Tales, and Lost Tales Parts 1 and 2.

I've only read The Hobbit, sorry. But I loved it, shame they didn't make a movie for it...

They did, I think two of them. One that's cartoonish in 1979 I think it was. I'm thinking it's super terrible. Gotta be. I saw some pics. :{

I thought they were working on turning it into two movies and it is supposed to come out in 2010 and the other half in like 2011.

I wish they made a movie out of the Silmarillion.

I read the first one. Tried 3 times to get through the 2nd was just 2 slow and boring for my liking. Only made it about half way every time.

yes two cartoon versions.. one was really awesome

the animators of the awesome one went on to make a really awesome version of the wholle lotr series
