anyone else read/reading this series by stephen king? i read it about a year ago and i'm re-reading it because it is just so EPIC [starting book 6 out of 7]
great read, especially if you have read any of his other works that were written previous to it, since they all tie in in one way or the other which just makes it all the more better.

any thoughts? i hope i don't come off as one of those "fanboys" who reads king because everyone else does, firestarter was my first book i read at like 12 ;3

e: any other epics like this? i know there's a guy who had a similar length series but died halfway through the last book, not sure what happened with that though

I think you mean The Wheel of Time. It's currently an eleven book series, and Robert Jordan died while writing the twelfth.

I've read every single one of SK's books. Almost all of them have reference to the Dark Tower, or are in it. The DT books are probably my favorite...

My first SK book was Bag of Bones...

Read it from the beginning, man. I've reread the entire set a few times myself. smile.gif A true epic..

Fantasy.

I recommend it highly, but it might not be for you if you don't like long books.

Might be picking this one up i HIGHLY enjoy long books the longer the better.

Also i was considering the books of "A song of fire and ice"
Wich one is more epic? and what are the major difference for people that readed both.

A Song of Ice and Fire is definitely much more mature and darker than Wheel of Time [better, too, imo]. Also, a Song of Ice and Fire has much more unexpected things happen than a Wheel of Time.

The Dark Tower, to me, really started going downhill after Wizard and Glass. The first four books were truly great, the last three were "meh".
