Just finished the book, took me about two days.. couldn't put it down. Christopher Paolini is just a genius.


Can't wait for the fourth book... I have a lot of speculations.

Yeah, it was great. Definitely the strongest of the series.
I can't wait to read the next book, which on the cover will be a green dragon, I wonder who the rider will be

My guesses for the next rider are--

Arya
Roran
Orik


However, my strongest guess would be Arya.. it just fits in perfectly.


I also wonder what the Vault of Souls is and where the Rock of Cuthain will be... they never got to that.. And also what happened to Oromis' sword and a number of other things..

Urgal (Doubtful, but it would be cool lol)

It was not nearly as good as the first 2 imo. It was quite predictable and not written as well as the 1st 2. I mean the part with the dwarves and such was just snorzeville.


Also Arya will not be the new dragon rider imo.

I first thought Orik but when Hrothgar did I knew it wouldn't be him because he would be king.

Roran there is a possiblity because he is strong willed and in the same bloodline.

An urgal would be cool didnt think of that, but very unlikely.

I've also though about the Elf in which Eragon trained his sword fighting with.


I have a theory too about Angela, she is a brilliant, weird spellcaster that nobody knows about. But yet she knows about everyone. I think Angela might actually be Eragon's mom, Selena, because they never really say what happens to her.

Why do you guys think there is going to be a new rider? Even if there is, it would have to be at the end of the book after everything is over, one of the remaining eggs hatches for somebody, but seeing as how long it takes them to grow and everything the last rider won't be part of the story, or of fighting Galbatorix.... And I doubt they'd do anything to accelerate it's growth like Thorn's dragon. In that sense, it doesn't really matter but I could be wrong.

I think the last book is going to be black for Galbatorix's dragon, Shruikan. It makes much more sense.

I have a hunch about Angela being Eragons mom aswell.

Also what of that random hermit that Paolini dedicated a whole chapter to. It has to relate somewhere.
