I'm working on writing a story, just for fun, but like if two characters are having a conversation and I want one of them to think something, and I want the reader to know it, how would I express it??

Just saying like "blah blah" he thought. Sounds to boring, and it don't sound right..

Okay, forget the question I guess. I got to study writing a little more. I believe it's third person, but I'm not sure on all the "writing perspective's". I got to go study a little, I was just trying to write in my free time and I guess there's still a lot I got to learn.

Anyone know where would be a good place to start?

And I'm talking the very beginning; the point of views, how to construct a sentence, a paragraph, how to keep the readers interest, ect..

I think I know it all, or most of it, but I just want to try to perfect my writing skills. anyone help is appreciated.
