have you evver read a book on 1000+ pages? and wich book was it?.. was it good in the lenght or did it get booring?!

War and peace. ~1.4k pages I think, was boring at times during battle scenes, but the character relationships and thoughts expressed throughout the book made up for it.

Taiko - 2 volumes , ~600 pages each
Shogun 2 volumes , ~500 pages each
Musashi- 2 volumes , ~600 pages each
A song of Ice and Fire - 5 volumes, over 500 pages each (i think)
The Bible - i stopped after about 50 pages

I think a few of the WoT books had over 1000pages (including index and stuff)... if we're counting whole series added up then the WoT series like 11000 pages.



Oh yeah, my LotR series came bound in one book.. I remember it being much bigger than the Bible.


But yeah, most books I read are like 800 pages. Not quite 1000, I guess if they make 1000 page books... casual and new readers are just like: "fuck that, that book is 1000 pages!"
