So, Im getting ready to read both books.

Has anyone else read these, and if so, How much did you like them?

i have read for whom the bell tolls, about this time last year to be exact.

the one thing that anoyed me about it was that although it was origionally written in english, he made it seem like it had been translated from spanish; it makes for some awkward words like thee and thou, which can be anoying and take a bit of getting used to.

i enjoyed the story though, and dont want to spoil it for you by going too indepth with a discussion

I like Ernest Hemingway, his writing style takes a little bit to get used to.
