Hey, I need some reccomendations about what I should start reading next.

I'm looking for somthing in the mature fantasy genre.

My two favorite series have been "The Wheel of Time" by Robert Jordan and "Song of Ice and Fire" by George R.R. Martin.

I've read The Lord of the Rings already, and I thought it was Okay, and I've read some R A Salvatore, and he's pretty good too.

I used to read dragonlance novels and dark sun novels back in the day, but now when I pick them up, I just can't seem to get into them the way I did. I need to find something a little "older".

Right now I'm looking for something new, preferably something obscure, and something that I don't have to read an epic series of books to enjoy. (Unless, ofc, the first novel in the series is really, really gripping.)

Any suggestions?

Geomancer was a pretty good novel, and I believe the full series is like four books long, perhaps five?
