I have both the books now and both the movies downloaded

now I don't know whether to read the books first or watch the movies, if I read first, it's going to be tormenting to make myself not see the movie until I finish the book

i'm just messing with you...
i ended up watching a clockwork orange before i read the book as well haha.
btw, that's fucking awesome!
i love movies also. i have tons of amazing movies...
i think it'd be so much fun to act, direct, write, or be involved, in any way, with a movie.
what are some of your favorite movies?
and good luck to you in your future career smile.gif

I've always thought it was a lot better to watch the movie before you read the book, just because books are better the majority of the time, and watching the movie first lets you judge it as just a movie.

true, i will agree with that.
but 99% of the time, books are better.
and they leave out so much stuff it's not even funny...
a lot of the times, they leave out major parts of the book.
movies would be fairly close to book quality if we didn't have so many bad actors/actresses and terrible directors...

Clockwork Orange - waste of time (imo). Moving on.

American Psycho - Could they have been more tame in the book -> movie conversion? The movie doesn't even come CLOSE to how fucking nuts Bateman is in the book. Sure, you realize from the movie he's crazy, but you just don't get a real picture of it. What really sets him apart as a psychotic killer is his dialogue. The man is cool as a saint and then stabs a guy in the face. It's amazing.
