in short: an evil entity tormenting a group of people from childhood through adulthood in the form of an evil clown. (its actually alot scarier than it sounds)

And yes, if you enjoyed the movie, i would recommend the book. Its 10x better.

you gotta be able to stick with it. i think the copy i have is like 1500 pages or something like that.

ya, it is quite a long book although i think it's not too horrible compared to some of his (Stephen King) other books

if you've liked other works by the same author then you should enjoy this book, if you haven't read other Stephen King books before then i suggest you start with a shorter one like Carrie or Cujo to see if you like his writing style

btw, did anyone who's read this book find the random pedophilia near the end kinda weird?
