Alright, for school I need to pick out a book written by a British author, it can be any book, as long as the Author is British. Anyone have any suggestions? I'll read just about anything, so there's really no particular subject I'm looking for.

Perdido Street Station - by China Mieville

If you can handle the challenging prose, this novel will blow your mind.

the answer is not to read one but many
in that light, it hardly matters wat u pick
whenever u are in doubt, just buy one of the classics, they never fail
nothing anyone says to u here really indicates whether you will like their book or not
