looking for a creepy-type book that has either a collection of short stories or a really interesting full story thing
(creepypasta, if anyone is familiar with it)
ex:

Quote
When I was ten, I had a huge closet. Only a small fraction of the closet was devoted to clothing. The rest of the space was for my own personal entertainment system: I had a sofa, a tv, and some video games. I spent most of my free time in there. It was a great closet.

One night, I woke up to hear a scratching noise on the other side of the closet door. This wasn’t very unusual, as sometimes my cat would get shut in there. He liked to wander in while I was using it and curl up in a corner, out of sight. I thought about letting him out, but decided against it. I was tired and I figured that he’d survive until morning.

The next day, I went in to get something to wear and gasped at the sight. My clothes were torn to pieces, my tv was destroyed, and my sofa was ripped to shreds. Then I turned around and saw the back of the door.

There hundreds of deep scratches all over it. It looked like something had been trying to get out.

Something desperate.

Something angry.

I never did find my cat.

like this SORT OF, but more drawn out, better written, and more interesting (better story and stuff) (creepy to the point where i won't be able to sleep because i'll be scared shitless/because i want to find out what happens next kind of thing)
now, i've only read stephen king (alot of it mind you) and i've liked his writing style ALOT, so i'm looking for something similar to that i guess?
anyway, i'm not really sure how to explain it but just recommend me books and i'll go check out a review/synopsis of it

thanks

steven king - night shift, not sure if it's what you're looking for but it's a good collection of short stories
