I've read Eragon a year ago and liked it. Is Eldest as good/better? Wondering if I should waste my time reading it

it's good, but it gets VERY slow in the middle. The beginning and end are great tho. The 3rd comes out in sept. so i'd wait about 2 mos and read eldest then your fresh for the 3rd book

I liked the first one alot more

The first one is better than the second. because Eragon Is Trainning Him self with the Elfes. The and is Good tho.

I think that 3 and 4 will be better too

It is an ok read at best. The eragon series is really just kinda regurgitated ideas from other fantasy novels, but he doesn't do too bad of a job merging them together. Book is definately better than the movie however.
