If anyone has read this series let me know if anything is close to it, after reading this i find it hard not to just re-read the series over and over. quite arguably the most epic series ever!

Try the wheel of time, anything from terry brooks, george rr martin, etc

he's alright, but his books are WAAAY too repetitive near the end

I 10000000000000000% agree with you. Best reads of my life.

And for the love of god, if you like goodkind then do NOT read robert jordan. He is absolutely terrible, a black mark on the name of fantasy. Goodkind and Jordan and complete opposites. If you adore one then you despise the other.

They are on the brink of death, are you telling me youd rather read a book where everybody is always happy, the enemy is weak and easy to kill, the good guys kill the bad guys and everybody lives happily ever after??? In that case I can see why you'r pissed at them, not your kind of books. And its certainly not repepitive, every book is an entirely different plot with a different storyline and different climax. By the sound of it, I doubt you've even read all the books seeing how much you hate them, you couldn't have finished all of them with that attitude.... meaning you are generalizing all of his books including the ones you didn't read - rendering your opinion meaningless. OR im sure you would be able to answer a series of questions about the last few books quite easily?
