Hi, haven't read a good novel in a long time.. so i decided to post this in search of a book that you can recommend me so hopefully i like it ;P

Some of the books i've read and liked:

Jasper(War novel)
Holes(Where the kid gets sent to some camp for being charged of committing a crime he didnt do)

ya, i havent read to many books haha, im in gr9 atm. ><

i dont mind fiction books, although i dont like the mystical stuff, swords, different realms etc.. non-fiction can be good but must be interesting enough. Also anyone know if bill gates has done an autobiography, always liked him and thought it might be an interesting read.

also it'd be good if you offered something that most libraries can get as i live in a dinky town but we do have a librarie, sometimes you can hassle them to order in a book for you lol.

anyways any recommendations are appreciated

the counte of monte cristo.
1200 pages but i swear to you the best novel you will EVER read.
set in like 19th century france, in an aristocratic society. story of a mans vengence on his three best friends who frame him and cause him complete ruin. but when he breaks out of prison he strikes it rich and sets out to give his buddies a lil payback

You know.. I've read alot of books like that. Not because I have an addiction problem with drugs, actually the only addiction I seem to ever have is women. No, I read them because they're real. I'm constantly lost in the fantasy world in my head but occasionally reality gives me a nice slap in the face. Actually I lied.. my second addiction aisde from women is gambling. It's not that I can't stop.. I just get addicted to winning.

Harry potter smile.gif

Also you could try these science fiction novels:
Vacuum Diagrams
Evolution
Ring
Timeships

These are by Stephan Baxter and are all excellent reads, however they are around 600+ pages each and the science involved is pretty complex, but hey at least you'll learn something smile.gif

If you're library has manga I'd get Death Note, it's about an honors student, Light Yagami, that finds a note book that kills anyone who's name is written into it. It's a suspense, intellectual battle kind of story.

A Wrinkle In Time is a nice easy Sci FI novel but it's still one of my favorite.

You mean John Grisham, and his law books.
