Er, no. I've read plenty of his books, and they're, to say the least, sub-par. I mean, "The Thousand Orcs" absolutely blew. The Dark Elf trilogy wasn't much better, either. Now the Clerical Quintet, that was at least on par.

You think he's good? Don't pick up a book by John Keegan. You'll shit yourself.

and you have to start from the beginning. Dark Elf Trilogy was definately my favorite, haven't gotten to Thousand Orcs yet

I grew up reading his DE series. I used to think he was a great author. Then I grew up and found some real authors, like George R.R. Martin

I have to say that the thousand orcs did not suck and he is a good author.
But in my opinion J.K. Rawling is a little better.
