well, please be a bit more pressice as to where your interests lie. Do you like Sci-Fi or medieval Fantasy fiction? Do you prefer non-fiction or travel writing? Do you want to read whole books written in iambic pentameter or in simple prose? Then, and only then, can I give a summarised list of books that I would suggest you read (otherwise I would be here a bit too long).

Well, your orientation is certainly towards magic fantasy, if not exclusively mediaval. I would suggest the Book of Words trilogy or the Empire trilogy (Janny Wurst and Raymond E. Feist, at least that is how I think their names are spelt). Other good reads are the Belgariad/Mallorean, the Tamuli, the Ellenium, all by David Eddings. These last series are much more stereotypical medieval fantasy but they are an enjoyable read nonetheless. The Belgariad is a 5+1 book series, the mallorean also, and the ellenium and tamuli are 3 books each. Each book is around 400 pages on average, going between 2 and 7 hundred pages all told. Other series that would certainly appeal to you are: A Song Of Ice And Fire, and, maybe, some DragonLance books (there are loads of these, so you can pick and choose which to read tongue.gif)
