This small yet good book is about Michal Jordan and his pursuit to excellence. Michael Jordan took his goals step by step. He always had the most ultimate goal of being the best. One example of this is when Michael Jordan finished high school he went to North Carilina for college all his friends and family told him he should not go to that high of a level school. They said he should go to the Air Force Academy because then he could get a job when he finished high school. Everyone had a different agenda for him, but he had his own.
Back to the goals he had set for himself, when he was cut from his Varsity team he felt terrible bad. Over the summer he made a goal that he would not only make the Varsity team but he would start, that was a big goal for him at the time. Each time he set out a goal, he visualized where he wanted to be and what kind of player he wanted to become. He approached thing with the end in mind, as he reached his goals he made new ones and gained confidenced everytime they came through.
In the next section of the book Michael Jordan talks about fears. He says when he ever was in a big game he did not look at the consequences of a missed shot because that would make him think of a negative result
