In this book there is a human boy who was exiled from his city for using wild magic or something like that eventually he meets his sister and they travel to like an elven city. Eventually the boy becomes a dragon rider and he also becomes a warrior learning to sword fight and shit, he also has a certain power that allows him to see openings and to know were to attack thats all I can really remember.
