thoughts/comments?

good book. well written style, easy to read, vivid and captivating. Hosseini's 1st book! thats pretty impressive to be honest. definately going to go watch the movie. funny how everything in america is made into a movie. wonder when they're gonna make a movie on the telephone directory.

It was a good book easy to read and very hard to put down.

My mom read the book, and we went and saw the movie the other night. It was really good, the movie makes me want to read the book. And the author of the book even got to be in the movie, at the end. My mom pointed this out to me, as she's met the author before and recognized him.

I thought that it was an absolutely amazing book.

I've also read his second book, A Thousand Splendid Suns, but The Kite Runner is still #1!

i thought it was a really good book, i didn't like the movie.. mostly because it didn't really measure up to the book, probably because i already knew what was gonna happen, and the whole subtitles thing was no fun!

I haven't had the chance to view the movie yet... Is it at least worth the time?
