Fight Club, Invisible Monsters, Survivor, Diary, Lullaby, Rant, haunted, choke, and others
Invisible Monsters is about a beautiful magazine model who gets shot in the face while she is driving and ends up in the hospital. After the surgery is all done, she is alive but she will no longer have a career as a magazine model. She and her friend travel around in search of a new life, away from the constraints of being models. The book can sound corny since it's about a bunch of girls running away from being perfect but there are a lot of amazing scenes that are drawn to perfection. Also, the ending will have you just asking yourself: "What the fuck?"
Survivor is about a man who hijacks a plane and plans to crash it into the Australian outback with no one but himself in the plane. If i say anything else, i'd be giving away too much of the story but that's information you can find out from reading the back page of the cover. Lots of people love this book for it's overall message and for it's amazingly dynamic characters.
Diary... i'm not sure what diary is about, i haven't read it, i'm sure it's crazy like the rest of his books though. I also haven't read Lullaby, but i know what it's about. It's about a lullaby that after you hear it horrible things happen to you. The story takes place in Africa (I might be making that up). Again, i haven't read either one so i'm not too sure about the details.
Rant is about the greatest serial killer(meaning he ultimately killed the most people, not that he is a great person). Except it isn't his fault, it's a plague that started from him that killed so many people. I'm not very far into the book but it's different than any other book he has written in the past. It's written in the form where you're reading police investigations, so a bunch of people can be contradicting eachother at one point. It can get confusing in the beginning but after you get the jist of how to read it, it gets pretty smooth.
Choke is about a guy who purposely chokes on food in public to get attention and to get a nice check in the mail from his savior. Some of the images in the story are so graphicly written that you can begin to visualize almost too well, which is both good and bad. Good because it's amazing that this author can do that so well. Bad because that image has scarred my mind. The book is amazing and ends with rocks, poo, and vomit everywhere.
Haunted, is a collection of short stories that are so disturbing and graphic that i actually walked out of my room clenching my ass cheeks together after reading the first short story in fear that what i just read would happen to me. I've only read that one story, but it's one of his more well-known out of all the stories in the book. It's called Guts and it's about 3 boys who practice different masterbation techniques.
Someone vouch that his books are incredible so that people can start reading
