Now renamed the "Inheritance Cycle" the 3rd book will be split into 2 seperate books instead of 1 big one.

Release date for the 3rd book is september 28th 2008.

Enjoy.

Eww, would have been better if it was one big one, IMO.

All depends on if you like your masochistic torture in installments or all in one. Seriously...who over the age of 5 reads this shit?

This is merely speculation and thus false. The release date ironically has not been released.

And you are "thus" wrong.

Read the press release, before you comment next time, please.

"Knopf also announced that it will publish Book Three, as yet untitled, in a national laydown in the United
States and Canada on September 23, 2008."

edit: Yes, 23rd instead of 28th, my bad.

Publishers pull these dates out of their asses themselves. They have no idea. Its a long time between finished draft and final, complete manuscript. Got alot of editing, review, potential rewrites, etc in between. Even with a final version, it takes a long time produce all of the retail hardcovers necessary for a large initial run. Even if things go perfectly, its at least 6 months between turning in the draft and shipping out the first order. (6 months is considered a rush job) And all of this is dependent upon when the author decides 'I'm done'...which can really be anytime at all.

They don't know. Sept. 23 is simply what they 'hope'.
