My favority book is "pyramides" of Terry Pratchet ... what an humour
All discworld books are great but this one is just amazing, the story is cool, the characters are genial and the jokes .... you will never find better ones

i Heard the english books of Discworld are even funnier cuz this is what Terry actually wrote - i only know the german ones.
Could you describe me how the language is in the english ones ?=)

i already made a thread about Terry Pratchett some weeks ago, nobody posted in it.
i guess T.P. isn't popular on jsp...

i read all the books in English (original language ftw!) and it's soo funny.

Favourite Characters:
- Sam Vimes
- Havelock Vetinari
- Mustrum Ridcully
- Susan Sto Helit

i don't really have a favourite book in his series... they're all awesome.


You should read his other stuff too:
- Maurice, the adultarated cat and his educated rodents.
- Truckers, Diggers and Wings
- Strata
- The Dark Side of the Sun
- The Carpet People
- Good Omens (together with Neil Gaiman)

But i have not all books of him - i have about 10 or 12 Books and i bet Pratchet wrote much more^^

Pratchett easily wrote +30 books.

I enjoy Pratchet, but I wouldn't say I'm an avid fan. Hilarious stuff, but I haven't read any in years. And I've only picked up a few books at that. Like I said, enjoyed it but never really latched on.

The reason books aren't too popular on these boards is because it's aimed at semi-literate teens. I bet if you made a thread about those stupid Halo books it would get 500+ replies.

As for the topic, I haven't read a Pratchet book I didn't like, I'd have to say my favorite charecter is Carrot or whats-her-face (death's grandaughter).

Mort and Small Gods were the best
Closely followed by Reaper Man.
DEATH is the best character in the series, closely followed by Om.

a book called strata .... dont know english name ... the science fiction with discworld as an joke of the masteers of universe ^^ - not as funny as the other discworld books i think

and a book in which death got fired ... it is just ... lol^^
