I just finished the second book of the Sword of Truth series and im simply astounded.... I love these books so much..... way better than HP for me.

Now, the first two books to this long series are great, but so where Rober Jordans, and we all know what a miserable failure the rest of his series was. That is my greatest concern, are the rest of the Sword of Truth books going to end up like Robert Jordans? If they are, I will stop now while they are good, something I should have done with RJ's books. If they aren't, are the sequels as good as the first two books?? I fucking hope so I loved the first 2......

The only problem that I've had with Terry Goodkind's books is that the scenario gets repetitive after awhile -OMG DOOM ONLY YOU CAN SAVE US!, again and again.

It's a good series, but near the last couple that happens.

Then again, I thoroughly love Robert Jordan's entire series, so maybe my opinion isn't the best for you.

I'd say the books go downhill after the first 1, it's just constant "oh noes, disaster has struck again" in every single book.
That and Richard Rahl's preaching get's more than a little irritating.

All are repetitive, but they are great reads. Have any of you started reading genesis of shannara? Im wondering if the future type storyline is going to be any good.

I couldn't stop reading them if I wanted too. I love em too much.

Problem is I can't find enough time to read them right now at all...
