Do you read any romance novels?
I started out reading the Carpathian series. Yes yes, I know the Carpathian series are paranormal romance novels. But I still liked them, I just got the book of Dark Demon at wal-mart because I thought it looked good. Failing to look at the sign above saying "romance". I wasnt suprised when I started reading into the sex scenes, but I got into the series. And started buying all of her books, you might think that romance novels are dumb. But they are actually pretty good, I like the fight scenes, as well as the mystery and power of the Carpathians.
I hadn't planned on ever picking up a romance novel until her books captured me. I would still have to say my favourite type is science-fiction though.
I dont want someone to post in here and say something stupid, just answer the questions and talk about them in a understandable manner.

I think you're confusing "romance" with softcore erotica.

No, its Paranormal Romance. They aren't vampires either, so it cant be considered "vampire erotica".

Romance? Did you even read the books? It's definitely erotica. They're vampires in everything but name.
