im just about to start the icewind dale trilogy (its all printed in one big book, doesnt seem horribly long, maybe 900 pages total?)
Hopefully its good
have to finish "the girl who loved tom gordon" first

I read the drow's ones and the valley's one (all in one book too) they're good too, and fantastic (of fantasy)

so far heres the plot
so, so far its been about the main characters protecting this place called ten towns from different threats, and the risiing of an evil wizard

theres also alot of description on Epic-sized battles and many many pretty awesomely worded fighting techniques
i guess the closest thing to compare it to would be the LOTR movies

I've read "The Halfling's Gem", I plan on starting on that series. I havent even heard of him until I saw the book at wal-mart...

I have been reading his books for years now. I have read most of the Drow Series its around 17 books in all. He has some great stuff and most of them are fast reads once you get into them. He has a great way of character development and hes great at just pulling you in.
