it usually takes 3-7 days for me smile.gif
is the question on how fast we CAN read a book or how fast we USUALLY read a book?
My number is how long it usually takes, ofc it's possible to read it in a day but I rarely read like 8 hours sessions tongue.gif

Depends on how much I'm liking what I'm reading.

I'd say, at best 2-3 Days, while at worst I can drag on for years.

When I am into a book I usually read 100 paperback pages an hour. So it dependson the size of book. I read da Vinci Code in one sitting the day before I saw the movie and it took me 5-6 hours.

There are between 250 and 300 words per paperback page.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speed_reading States that reading between 250-350 wpm will give you the best reading comprehension. Most fictional literature does not require a lot of concentration so if I am into the book, I can read faster. I read technical literature much slower in the 150-200 wpm.

Ok, so If you read 100 pages an hours it means you have to read at a rate of 1.666... pages per minute. Meaning over 400wpm, that is said on your link that makes your comprehension 50+% lower....
