I say this without any kind of puffed up sense of self:
I can read extremely fast and extremely accurately.
I have read "The Wheel of Time" book four, "Shadow Rising", in under a day. That's a 1025 page long book.
And yeah, while I am pretty happy that I can read that much and that fast (I can focus virtually all my attention on something if need be), I have on occasion lost myself in a book and truly forgotten some really simple functions like eating, sleeping, relieving myself, etc...
I also got a very, very, very bad migraine after reading so long. Similarly I did a Harry Potter marathon a couple of years back and stayed up for 22 hours in a row, a big percentage of which was pure reading.
No wonder I wear glasses
