I read up to like 8 or 9. It was really good but when I finished the last that was published so far and realized there was more planned for the future I gave up. Some things just need to end and I hate it when it's carried on and on and especially when you have to wait (wait for the next one to be written) for it to be carried on even further. I fell back onto the Jerle Shannara series if anyone knows what that is. Really enjoyed that series and it was an extremely easy read.

WoT is great but all things have to come to an end. I wish this would cause I'm sick of waiting :\

Damn you all, I've been trying to get these books from the library for the past six months!

I tried to start with the only available once (book eight), but I didn't have any clue about anything, and quit about 150 pages in sad.gif.

Meh, time to just buy the damn things, eh?

u cant start in the middle lol, ud be so utterly lost

I love this shit, ive read all of em twice already

New spring was an awesome prequeal

and LAN IS THE MOST BADASS CHARACTER IN ANY BOOK THAT I HAVE EVER READ

cant wait to see wat GALAHD does as Commander of the whitecloaks either cause i used to hate him, but the prologue for the Knife of dreams changed my whole perspective on him
its a shame that Robert jordan is sick, I hope he finishes this shit, i need the final battle with the dark lord lol

If Robert Jordan manages to finish next book, he'll finish the series at the same time, but unfortunatly I heard he's really sock, so I wait and hope...

Na, Mat is a better character IMO, although Lan is pretty cool, especially in the prequel.

I noticed. I'm on the third book now biggrin.gif.

Really good books, actually.

Meh, I've resorted to just buying the paperbacks, only 8 bucks each, and I know I'll read them again, so s'all good.

If only it were true. Sure, Raistlin more than makes for a great series (as in many of these epics, I always find it one particular character/characters who's sheer force of character makes a great story become alive tongue.gif). However, WoT is a tad better. In fact, in my humble opinion, a LOT better. Merry Christmas everyone.

edit: science had better have come up with some curative measures to save Jordan. Otherwise I'm going to stop my course (*joke* Physics is infinitely interesting and is much more reliable the Chemistry or Biology or Medicine etc... Moreover, none of the latter have cured me yet ohmy.gif).
