I can't think of anything recent with Juggernaut that's good, but I think he was in Excaliburs that was pretty good. The most recent thing I can think of is the Fear Itself Marvel event. I freaking hated it.





Crappy pic, haha. Picked Spiderman 2099 #1 and Miles Morals: Ultimate Spiderman #2 today. I saw the most recent cover of Saga, it looked pretty badass with the guy's face in bandages.

That Spiderman 100th Year thing was a one shot. Art was really vivid, but not worth a pick-up imo.

Also, apparently big things are happening with Thor.
Thor loses his arm and gets a metallic one in Avengers in the current time line (which is why we see Future/Old thor with a metalic arm), and apparently an event is going to happen where it's deemed that Thor isn't worthy enough to hold his mantle as the God of Thunder.

We're getting a female Thor.

Yeah, I heard about Thor. Meh.

What Thor comic is it all happening in? GOT? Or a fresh series. I don't care really either way.

I'm not sure, but there's lots of speculation that it has something to do something with the Original Sin tie in.

There are so many changes that are happening because of Original Sin, I hope comic nerds won't look back in 5 years and say to themselves, "Marvel really forced some dumb shit cause of this."
I'm still on the fence if I like what's happening or not.
If it promotes new and better stores, I'm all for it.

Oh, I don't care one way or the other really about Thor in general. I was only impressed with 'The God Butcher' and 'Godbomb' sagas, because they showed us something new and exciting. Also, there is a TON of great underlying imagery to be found in that story arc, that I found quite fascinating.

I am obviously all for new and potentially good stories to come out of this, but overall it seems to just be another ploy.

Oh yea, what's a good starting point for Batman? I read up until Death of the Family, but any series that involves him that I should read?

Ummm, every arc on the New 52 run of Batman has been worth reading imo.

The one happening now is probably the best. (Zero Year and Savage City)

Year One by Miller, The Dark Knight Returns, Black Mirror, The Cult, Hush.

I've seen Zero Year at my lcs before. Ill definitely give it a read.

Also, apparently Steve Rodgers has to give up his title since he's old now, and Sam Wilson is going to become the new Captain America.

Saw that aswell. Wish I cared more about Marvel, but it's just so hard for me to. I am a DC fan, but still think that companies like Image are putting out the best work these days.

Indy books make up most of my pull list these days, for good reasons.

Nowhere Men, Jupiter's Legacy, Saga, East of West, Sex Criminals, The Wake, American Vampire, Sandman Overture, Deathmatch (Just Ended), Trillium (Just Ended), Black Science (Trade #1), Manifest Destiny (Trade #1) - all amazing reads. This is where the pride of comic book reading comes for me, honestly.

I guess I am in to more mature story lines, I think? I don't really know. I enjoy something where I don't know that the good guy is gonna be alive at the end of the day to carry on this 100 year legacy in comics, like most super-hero books by Marvel or DC. I like reading books with life and death consequences. I like seeing raw emotion more prominently displayed.
