I have that at home, but didn't begin reading it yet ( kinda forgot it :D ). Maybe I should give it a try.. It's even in english ( normally I read my books in german ) !

I have read most of Stephen Kings books but have not got to this one yet. Its so thick its hard to make that big of a commitment.

The Complete and Uncut version of the stand which was much longer than the first paperback release is probably the single longest book I have read, when I was about 14.

I have read most of Michener's epic pieces like "Centennial" and "The Drifters", the first one I'm not even sure how long it is. Easily fifteen hundred pages.

"Centennial" is probably one of the best books I ever read. I did a book report on it in the seventh grade. I think that Michener's "The Covenant" was better though.

My version of The Bible is only about nine hundred pages including the bullshit in the last eighty or so, so that doesn't really count.

Can't think of any others at the moment. I haven't read much for books outside of school since about ninth grade.

I have read one book on Africa once that was around 1,000 pages.

Other than that I don't think I have (most of my books fall in the 500-700 category).

Was it 'The Covenant'?
