Deathly hallows, simply because it explained everything that was left unexplained.

But all the books are amazing anyway.

Vouch...i just wote all of them since i like 7, 3, 4 the same and the other books a bit lower but i like all of them (:

Deathly Hallows is probably my favorite (story wise)

But the first one is a close 2nd
(I still remember the day in 4th grade when my teacher started reading it to us, been hooked ever since & I'm 18 now smile.gif)

I've read the first 6 books at least 3 times each, and I'm at my third go with Deathly Hallows right now. Putting them against eachother is not easy, but as I see it the books 4 through 6 excells for a number of reasons. Deathly Hallows was something of a slight dissappointment for me as it did not live up to the high expectations set by the intriguing 6th book. Dispite the unravelling of many things previously unexplained its story never quite caught me, as I perhaps had expected it to.

Choosing only one of the books I'd have to go with The Half-Blood Prince, with any of it's 2 closest predecessors as a close runner-up.

Deathly Hallows.
It had the most excitement. And it had my favorite chapter of all time; the chapter where it revealed Snape's good intentions since book one.
