reading several series at the moments.

Tana French's Dublin Murder Squad books - on book two, The Likeness
Ted Dekker's circle books - on book two, Red
Suzanna Collins' Hunger Games books - on book two, Catching Fire
Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn books - just starting book one, Mistborn The Final Empire
Waiting to get the second book of Lois Lowry's The Giver series from the library.

So far, my favorites have been the hunger games and the circle books.

The Wish Song of Shanarra.

Honestly I like the books but the Ohmsfords are sooo annoying.

Plus it's all basically the same throughout the series. Evil power requires fighting, long arduous journey and one of the Ohmsfords doubting themselves the whole fucking time.

I really hope the others books aren't like this.

The Road by Cormac McCarthy. I've always loved stories set in desolate, dystopian futures.

finished the Circle books, great reads, though i didn't like the 4th book he added in. should have just been the first 3, and not tried to make it a complete circle in the story.
finished the hunger games books - the first was definitely the best of the books, they got less and less original as it went on. still enjoyable though.
now on book 2 of the mistborn books, first was really good, took a tad to get into, but it hooked me.
