Yeah, that's why I thought you recommended it lol. I can see if being good after you said that. Preacher surly is graphic as hell. Loved every bit of it. :)

When you said you were a fan of that violence/gore stuff, I just thought of Innis, haha. I had no clue he wrote Preacher.

I didn't know Preacher was so long, it's like over 60 issues long. I'm at issue 3, it slowly is starting to pick up now.

Oh yeah. Huge story. Multiple little arcs that piece themselves together over time. The progression of some of the characters is the best part of the series though.

Lol, I have to stare at my long box as I type this, I almost want to reach in and start reading Preacher with you, lol.

How big is your actually comic collection?

Tbh, mine's like 20% single issues, 20% tpb, and the rest are "digital"

Holy shit man, that's alot.

I started my collection around December. I probably buy a majority of my trades/single issues at my local comic cons. They're like $5-10 for trades, and single issues for cheaper then MSRP. I regularly get Superior/Amazing Spiderman and Ultimate Spiderman at my LCS.

When I was in high school/college, I was broke as shit all the time, so I just downloaded whatever I wanted to read.
But man, having a physical copy of a comic book is a different feel then having a digital version of it.

I enjoy the feel of a physical book in my hand. I wouldn't be able to stand digital ever. Even if it was a trade. You can usually find used trades and whatnot online or at conventions for next to nothing sometimes.

A comic-con is being held this coming Sunday. Hate budgeting for these events, they always break my wallet hard.

Picked up some good trades for sooo cheap.

Ah, it's a really small one. 90% of the con is comic book vendors setting up shop, so it's pretty much for people looking to buy comics...no events or any of that other stuff.
