I just finished the Twilight series yesterday. I have also finished the Harry Potter series, but that was a while ago. I am looking for a new series to start, but I would like it to be along the lines of Harry Potter and Twilight. I like those type of series and would like to try and stay as close to it as possible.

So if anyone has any suggestions that I should check out, please post and let me know.

Although I haven't read it I believe Narnia is very similar to those two. I read Harry Potter up to the fourth book in middle school, and haven't read the new ones nor have I read Twilight so I could be wrong.

The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice

Definitely along the lines of HP and Twilight, yet totally better than Twilight. The vampires are much more defined in her novels.

Eragon, Eldest, and Brisingr :the Inheritance cycle

You'll like that. Its a tweeny series too. I have to say I read all the Hp and Twilight. I only forced myself to read through Twilight to give it a complete and accurate bashing when my 20+ year old friends tell me how good it is and how much they love it. It was so difficult to read through the 2nd book...even the author was bored was her dreadful work.
