All 7 Harry Potter books
Any of the Magic the Gathering series
Eregon Eldest and Brisinger
I know that's more than five but you really can't just read one book in a series, and I wanted to at least give a variety instead of just saying Harry Potter FTW.

are you really 25 years old?

still living with mom or what?

I can't help it but whenever I see these types of topics I can't help but think it reall means " Your own top 5 must reads, 5 books titles that you can put that will make you cooler than the person who posted before you. Regardless of that here are 5 of my must reads, although I would prefer to name more than 5.

Stranger in a Strange Land - Robert Heinlen
The Incarnation of Immortality Series - Piers Anthony
Focaults Pendulum - Umberto Eco
The Dresden Files Series - Jim Butcher
Merlins Bones - Fred Saberhagen

I can't even vouch these are my top 5, they are just 5 great books or series of books that I could think of at this moment. I am a nerd and read WAAAY to many books. About 5 a week is normal for me.

Five books I think everyone should read would be,

1984
The Giver
Lord Of The Flies
The Outsiders
Moby Dick

everyone should read these, since this is like a 8th-10th graders reading list basically.

well maybe it could have been earlier than that but definately not later, I haven't been in highschool for 4 years so it very well could have been 6th grade for all I know or care.

Actuall nevermind, my reply was really not necessary, no it was not an illustrated classic, I read it in 4th grade to prove to my teacher I could read it and easily comprehend it, then was made to read it again in highschool or late middle school. I actually skipped 5th grade entirely
