Genre Of Literature That Most Appeals To You? - Topic

Why I am not surprised that Medieval fantasy fiction is so popular. Could it have something to do with the fact that most users here play some kind of Rpg (sp or online or what-not)? Naaahhh, surely not

@njaguar: Yeah, other than typos, I try to preserve the poetic beauty and the rich history that is any language. Rape is wrong, especially if it is targeted at a language

@_DreamWorks_: Don't like crime books. Should have added it to the list separately though, but you'll forgive my bias

@"the rest of y'all": I like SF too but MFF is just special. Something about losing yourself in a world full of mystery, magic and strange cultures, peoples and what-not certainly appeals to me. Dreamer you say? Rubbish ...

TheLou, I take it you mean Detective or Thriller/Horror right? Because if so then they sure as hell aren't on the list I made since I don't particularly like that genre of literature. Unfair? Well, yeah, but this is my lil pol

and Detective and Thriller stories just aren't my cup of tea (incedently, I'm drinking a mug of nettle tea right now
