Koontz is cheesy imho.  King makes you the person in the story with superior descriptions.

i just finished from the corner of his eye, GOD that man spends A LOT of time telling me how happy his characters are before he gets them killed.

and everyone is made out to be saints, so yeah, koontz can be corny, but he can be pretty fucking great too, read experiment if you havent smile.gif

Good books by S.K.

Hearts in Atlantis (More of a chick book)... Cell.. That was a bad ass novel. (More end of world Thriller; it's relatively short)

One of my favourite Stephen King books is Bag of Bones. I would recommend reading it if you like creepy books. Its not as long as The Stand and starts slow. But when it takes off it really takes off. The first time I read it i could not put it down and its one of his books I re read.

The shining and Pet Cemetary are good. Christine, Carrie, From a Buick 8 (wierd but good), Needful Things (good book about greed) Misery. Just a few.
