Fisherman's Children series by Karen Miller takes place after kingmaker, kingbreaker (The Prodigal Mage, The Reluctant Mage)

then a book that takes hundreds of years before the 4 above books by Karen Miller A Blight of Mages

AMAZING SERIES! I love the way she writes her books, i couldn't put these books down. I almost feel these were better than Brent Weeks Night Angel Trilogy.
