terry goodkinds series

Reminds me, still need to read The First Confessor: The Legend of Magda Searus
Just glad that Goodkind hasn't followed up on The Law of Nines, and went back instead to the Sword of Truth

As far as Epic Fantasy goes, I like:

A Game of Thrones

Shadows of the Apt

Ender's Game (More Sci-fi but it's awesome!)

I've read a lot of other series, but the first two are by far my favorite. I've also currently been reading The Deed of Paksenarrion series and other ones by the same author. I just started reading the Half-Orc series by David Dalglish after I read his Shadowdance trilogy.

I like the assassin/thief type books and epic battles over sorcerer-magic type books. The shadows of the apt has a lot of what I like in books. It has the large scale battles, but also the small skirmishes and stealth which I love. It has some magic involved, but not enough to overpower the rest of the book.
